Hannah Nicholson is a qualified Therapist. Her journey of discovery and healing began in her teenage years.
This was when she had a real desire to understand her moods and emotions during a challenging time in her life.
It was fairly difficult to find the help that she needed which was, an emotional support system.
A safe space to speak freely and openly without judgements or consequences.
Hannah was able to access a course in CBT which helped her to push through her limiting beliefs.
As a result, she learned further tools to deal with problems that she needed to work through at the time.

Hannah Nicholson has since become a qualified Integrative Therapist.
She blends her knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT) and Person-Centred theory with various other psychological and therapeutic techniques to provide intuitively tailored personal therapy.
WHAT IS CBT
CBT is a solution-focused, structured, and action-based talking therapy requiring collaboration between the therapist and the client.
It is based on the cognitive behavioural model which suggests that;
when a situation happens it stimulates thought, this thought is your own interpretation of the situation.
However, your thoughts then evoke emotions, behaviours and physical sensations.
We will work together to bring awareness to your thoughts, reframe negative thoughts and recognise triggers.
Together we will work towards practising new behaviours which support your therapy goals.


CBT GETS A BAD RAP
CBT often gets a bad rap for being so structured that the client doesn’t feel seen for the person that they really are.
There is a lot of emphasis that have been put upon moving through therapy activities.
This is where my experience of Person-Centred Therapy allows my clients the time and space to be heard and seen, without judgment or expectations.
I will endeavour to provide an environment that is safe and confidential for you to explore and to be vulnerable.
I will hold space for difficult emotions and positive growth.
I feel that it is essential for you to have the autonomy to work towards your own agenda and to express your true authentic self.

In 2021 Hannah Nicholson spent a lot of time working on herself, deepening her spiritual connection and learning about how energy works.
It became apparent to her that natural methods of healing have been lost, although necessary in providing an alternative to traditional medicine.
Because of this understanding, her soul was called to learn reiki.
Hannah has had astounding results from clients who have found a sense of physical and mental relief and healing.
In the distant past, our ancestors had innate wisdom that they used to heal themselves.
Reiki is the energy that connects our higher self with everything around us.
The premise for distance Reiki healing is simply that we are all connected to the same source of energy and so therefore to each other.
